    I worked at XO Communications

Some flexibility in schedules is good.
Local management works hard and does a great job trying to work through their own limitations from the executives.

-Too many lay offs, no loyalty or appreciation.
at least one lay off each year for 5 years and in many cases there were several, but they were kept quiet so as not to worry anyone.
-low follow through from the executive team.
-wages in at least one state were under average
-often without the resources to meet goals. I.e. team members not being replaced, slow computer, system limitations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

-executive team should try following through on promises they make.
-continual annual raises are something that need to be built into the budget, not the other way around.
-don't hire people and turn around a layoff others that have been working hard for years.
-don't cut raises foe the whole company if one area didn't meet their goals.

    Negative Outlook
