    Pros

    In many divisions there is high satisfaction with work / life balance. Many people work remotely from their homes, which is pleasing to working parents

    Cons

    Xerox is a huge, slow moving company. The changes made by purchasing ACS 2 years ago are good, however we still do not respond fast enough to market demands to be as competitive as we need to be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    All of our competitors have purchased ECM companies. Xerox should have invested in its own ECM company, which was the first Web-based ECM platform and the industry darling 6 years ago. We have not moved as quickly as we need to because Xerox has not had the vision to invest, and now our competitors are offering services plus ECM software as comprehensive solutions. Not only do customers need and want this, but it also keeps margins strong for our competitors. Xerox needs to embrace and support its ECM division and enable it to put more back into R&D in order to stay at par or move ahead of the competition.
