    I have been working at Xerox full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    lots of small projects which act as standalone entities. you can learn a lot the "hard" way.

    Cons

    Centralized IT - Security and facilities isn't very efficient - lean past point of break for productivity and employee moral.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Decide what your values are and create a culture that honors that across all projects - Many of the employees feel that they cannot be productive and the only goal at mind is to do the least possible to stay out of trouble. Pushing your staff year after year is causing an environment that makes it difficult to see the bigger picture. try to encourage good behavior.
