It was a good experience working at YP. Shortlived because it is a company that is still transitioning.

I have been working at YP full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good Job with decent benefits. People were great too.

    Cons

Company-wide consolidation so call center was closed. Moving to have only 3 call centers nation wide. Understand from a business perspective but not from the point of view of keeping things local which is the YP mantra - local search

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat the employees the same way that you would like to be treated. What else is new. Worked in outside sales prior to moving to the call center - management was constantly calling during the say to ask what you did, what you are doing and what you will be doing. Became a distraction to getting things accomplished. Learned to deal with the interruptions.
