    Sr. Sales Director – dual role: Drive Large Loss Const Claims & New construction work

    This is key role within our firm, requires an opportunistic mindset, high IQ and aptitude in driving new business. In this role you will use your experience and knowledge of commercial construction or commercial loss claim process. Your confidence of commercial construction methods can help provide critical information distinguishing CIMA’s full-service solutions to an array of prospective clients. Your ability to connect with owners, brokers, agents, risk managers, facility engineers, executives, and other key stakeholders through personable and confident demeaner will largely determine success. Success is greatly measured when clients see CIMA as the right solution to help them navigate this unexpected building loss, or the fun of building another new building.

    When a loss occurs, that loss typically cause the client much disruption, angst, and urgency. Through building relationships, knowing people, you and CIMA can provide peace of mind, as clients employ CIMA to quickly identify critical & diverse pathways to rebuilding the large loss claim. They need what we deliver daily.

    Driving new construction sales, also requires finding projects before they occur and before they are awarded. You will likely drive sales by connecting with owners, architects, national accounts by phone, e-tools, relationships, networking, and other methods you will bring from your proven track record.

    CIMA is unique in many ways. We can quickly partner with our sister company who is a forensics structural engineer to provide in-depth make-safe evaluations, implement emergency shoring, get demo started immediately upon approval, and then coordinate all parties (insurer, owner, PM, others) through the details of re-construction through our experience construction team using hand-picked sub-contract partners, and vendors. CIMA can quickly mobilize to meet any demand. From initial emergency inspection, structural make-safe, shore-up of walls/roofs, demo, design, costing, repair, reconstruction, and turnover, CIMA will engage from start to finish and all aspects in between. Including working closely with clients and their insurance company to keep the process moving toward the successful finish.

    Role - Overview
    Qualified candidates will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with prospects & clients to drive sales. Lead our sales effort in new construction and insurance loss re-construction area. Identify opportunities that routinely create new business. Help CIMA communicate and deliver a positive customer experience.

    Role - Responsibilities

    • Intentionally identify and build key relationships that drive CIMA services to largely new prospects or clients in Texas and surrounding states.
    • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
    • Identify and network with industry suppliers, contractors, adjusters, and other new sales prospects
    • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
    • Independently or with CIMA team, negotiate and close opportunities as they are presented with all Owners or Owner agent types.
    • Establish and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
    • Work as a team with all areas of CIMA operations promote customer satisfaction, sales growth, and the success of the entire CIMA organization.
    • Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
    • Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
    • Attend CIMA operations and safety training courses as required

    Role – Duties

    • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
    • Develop positive relationships with clients.
    • Act as the point of contact and handle customers' individual needs.
    • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
    • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
    • Attend marketing events as required, distribute marketing material as needed
    • As needed, perform setup and take down CIMA displays at shows or conventions
    • Share quantitative data to support results of Marketing events to management
    • Develop or review current knowledge of CIMA services, industry trends, and competitive information.
    • Actively participate in key local industry groups and associations.
    • Identify and resolve client concerns in order to grow overall sales.
    • Work as a team with all operations to promote customer satisfaction, sales growth, and the success of the entire organization.
    • Must have working knowledge of applicable building codes
    • Demonstrate basic understanding of source removal, mitigation, containment, ventilation, contents and deodorization techniques, investigative demolition, controlled demolition, decontamination structure cleaning and deodorization services
    • Independently manages own work, attend company meetings.
    • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills

    Compensation package:

    Good base Salary + Monthly Commission + other potential bonuses

    Realistically reach $90,000 - $125,000+ pace in first year, not capped

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years’ experience in driving new business as an owner or key leader/sales role
    • 5+ years commercial GC owner with sales cultivation focus
    • 5+ years commercial loss or risk management experience,
    • 5+ years’ experience in project management of commercial construction,
    • 7+ years’ experience in driving new business as an owner or sales role
    • English literacy and fluency
    • Understanding Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates, proposals, etc
    • Advanced Microsoft offices skills,
    • Confident talking with and negotiating with owners, key mgrs., adjustors, property managers
    • Professional demeanor and appearance, excellent telephone skills.
    • Ability to work well with others, maintain professional interaction with co-workers and vendors.
    • English literacy and fluency
    • Current driver’s license and auto insurance

    Physical Demands

    • Lift over 50 lbs
    • The ability to bend, crouch, and/or stand as necessary.
    • Walk on uneven surfaces, in attics, in and through damaged areas.
    • Climb ladders, stand and walk on sloped roofs as needed

    • Unassisted sitting for extended periods of time
