Amigo Baby. Inc – Why work with us

    FAMILY CENTERED AND INDIVIDUALIZED SERVICES

Each child and each family is unique and we tailor our services to the family’s needs. We are flexible in scheduling and our therapists have experience managing complex cases and a variety of different diagnoses. Our goal is to empower families to gain confidence, skills, and knowledge to manage their child’s needs.

    NATURAL ENVIRONMENTS

We believe that services should be provided in the child’s natural environment. Whether that is the home, the playground, a daycare, or any other environment your child would typically spend their time in. Research shows that children learn and carry over skills better when the skill is practiced in the context of their natural environment.

    CULTURAL SENSITIVE SERVICES

Our team is mostly bilingual (Spanish-English) and well trained in providing a strong culturally sensitive program. We support culturally meaningful practices and integrate the family’s culture into our sessions.

Current Speech Language Pathologist in Newbury Park, CA, California

The great life work balance. Every six months the company closes for 1 week and we are paid. The company also matches our 401k plan with up to 4 percent. Best around!!

Former Speech-Language Pathologist in Oxnard, CA, California

2 weeks paid vacation after working a year. The weeks are not of your own choosing. Vacation pay is prorated if you are not there a whole year and if you are not working 40 hours a week. Healthcare is very expensive. No lower cost options available.

Former Early Interventionist in Oxnard, CA, California

It's a good program, it helps many children and their families. You make your own schedule which allows flexibility. Especially if you have children of your own, this is a plus. However, the pay is low as you are paid by client rather than hourly.
