I have been working at inContact full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is a good mix of ingenuity and continual process improvement, professionalism, and good management. Its a great grown up environment as compared to the newer tech companies that try to win you over on all the freebies and cool looking office spaces and 75% of the people are just out of college. Not only does incontact offer those aspects (free soda, break room snacks, and company parties) in moderation, but they deliver an environment where you feel like a true professional, which I appreciate. Cons

The benefits could be better. I would really appreciate paternity leave and greater mobility options/discussions for career advancement. Some of the more tenured management get stuck in how things "used to be" with how they process information. If you get a good manager, this isnt a problem. I think that this is being worked on. Sometimes its hard to cut through the "bureaucracy" when working with other department, but this is a known issue thats being worked on. In Professional services, the hours can be long at times, but they do work with you to provide flexibility in your work hours. The customers can be demanding, but management is generally supportive (note - earlier statement about managers).

    Advice to Management

    1) Provide greater advocacy, mobility, and promotion of internal candidates for other opportunities in the company. 2) Provide greater transparency into promotion processes. 3) Offer more opportunities for employee/career development. 4) Continue to innovate and improve our product offering for our customers. 5) BENEFITS - these just need to be better to compete in the marketplace. Paternity leave, open PTO, greater company contribution into health care. They' benefits are middling at best, which is my biggest complaint. But overall, keep up the good work
