    The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for leading strategic marketing activities and decisions at DrayTek by planning, creating, and overseeing the execution of all activities with the objective of growing the brand, increasing the customer base and maintaining high levels of engagement with existing customers.
    The Senior Marketing manager is responsible for product promotion and communicating the product’s value to the market. Creating marketing materials that communicate features, developing marketing tools and campaigns to attract new prospects and customers.
    Reporting and analysing data/results is a key aspect of the role; a commercial mindset and strong commitment to delivering results is essential. They will be required to plan and manage content calendar, budgets and financials, and meet deadlines by delegating the campaign execution to one direct report and a Marketing Operations team.
    The successful candidate will lead the DrayTek UK Marketing division whilst working closely with the Sales and Product teams. Reporting to the Business Unit Director at CMS Distribution, the Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for multi-channel marketing campaigns destined to launch new products, generate leads, pipeline, new routes to market and achieve revenue goals using our chosen marketing automation platform, HubSpot.
    Applicants with previous experience working in the Networking industry or coming from a technical marketing background with a key interest in furthering their career in this industry is essential.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Build a branding strategy to grow the brand’s presence in key markets through activites such as blogs, industry forums, public relations activites, and thought leadership
    • Product promotion - Plan and lead the delivery of quarterly marketing plans within budget and adhering to deadlines. Campaigns can consist of customer roadshow, email campaigns, exhibitions, press releases, social media, telesales, and webinars
    • Sales & Marketing Content – Oversee the creation of sales and marketing tools, which could consist of brochures, PR, case studies, cross-sell / up-sell presentations, demos, presentations & pitches, infographics, sales support tools, solution datasheets, videos, website content, and whitepapers
    • Implement technical knowledge of the DrayTek products, features, benefits, and functionality into all marketing communications, addressing how they impact different buyer personas, industries, and sectors.
    • Drive conversion of leads generated by Marketing by liaising with the Sales and Product Development team, create high-level reports on progress for the senior team.
    • Monitor campaign performance using HubSpot and analytics tools. Report results to key stakeholders demonstrating sales engagement and performance during monthly and quarterly reviews with key stakeholders.
    • An ability to communicate to the reseller and end-user customers with an understanding of how best to create demand for the Draytek brand
    • Strong communication skills to promote, sell and negotiate ideas with senior internal and external stakeholders.
    • Execute and develop product launch strategies and propositions to drive sales.
    • Create end-user demand through a variety of marketing communications including product reviews, demo’s, training, assets etc to optimise sales
    • Develop key strategies which will enable new routes to market
    • Organise regular B2B events for key customers, prospects and internal stakeholders
    • Administrate and report campaign leads using CRM system and other reporting tools.
    • Take ownership of marketing finances and vendors responsible for within the marketing P&L, working within allocated budgets to provide the best value and ROI from activities carried out for CMS and our technology partners. Responsible for vendor Market Development Funds (MDF); planning, reporting and administration.
    • Drive digital adoption through CMS store
    • Management experience of leading a team of people and setting KPI’s and objectives which drive desirable behaviours

    Essential
    5 years B2B technical marketing experience
    Commercial mindset to achieve objectives and contribute towards the success of DrayTek
    Experience in making decisions that impact success
    Experience of end-user marketing campaigns and ability to measure ROI and report back on recommended improvements
    An understanding of product sets, respective verticals and how to penetrate resellers with meaningful campaigns delivering net new customers
    A thorough understanding of routes to market, which customers are strong in which segment and how to put together programmes which will grow the business
    An ability to work across a manufacturer and Distributor sales to teams to maximise the reach and potential of the brand
    Coaching, mentoring or leadership experience to support team members
    Ability to analyse data, make recommendations and conclusions
    Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
    B2B copywriting skills are essential
    Experience of launching Vendors into new territories
    Excellent digital adoption skills
    Presenting reports
    A proven ability to manage and improve ROI on lead generation campaigns
    Managing product launches
    Event Management experience
    Marketing Automation experience – ideally HubSpot
    Excellent Communication skills – English

    Ability to create buyer personas, identify what product features/benefits are important to each persona and write content specifically for them
    Good understanding of CRM systems.
