I have been working at mindSHIFT full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Work-life balance, flexibility, time-off. Team members are responsive, helpful and easy to work with.

    Cons

    1. No career path
    2. Direct supervisor has no trust in staff (i.e. poor delegator) and little respect for anyone else's time. No invesment in employee's professional development and no guidance or clarity regarding job roles and responsibilites.
    3. Company continues to be acquired and focus constantly changes. Upper level management cannot make decisions efficiently or effectively.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide people with opportunities to advance (and not just your favorite people) and ways to actually better their skills and careers. Involve them in decisions and let them do their jobs without constant babysitting.
