I have been working at mindSHIFT full-time (More than 3 years)
Some people are nice to work with - there is a common theory - misery loves company - the place has gone down hill so much in the past three or so years that you have to keep your sense of humor.
Bad pay, bad PTO, no room for advancement. Sr. Management treats their direct reports and Middle Managements reports with no respect. Ideas are never acted upon. They refuse to hire any new employees even with many of the staffs way under staffed. Raises are little to none, bonus' are the same. The company was wonderful once upon a time but I fear we will never ever see that again. They blamed Best Buy the past couple of years, I am fearing they will try to put the blame now on Ricoh. The past 3 years have been really rough. The ones that stay get even more work to do for less pay and no thanks, no appreciation etc
Advice to Management
Listen to your staff - listen to the ideas - hold meetings with your individual groups - have a suggestion box. Walk around the area and see how hard the ones left are working - and fill the company up. Make the MINDSHIFT the # 1 company again. It can be done, but not alone. You have some really hard working intelligent workers out there that want to help make the company # 1.
