Seeking a strong, experienced Account Rep and Estimator for remodeling and restoration services geared towards Property Management Companies in the Northern Virginia area. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team.

Job Requirements:

• Five (5) years in an account representative position in remodeling and/or renovation
• Three to five years experience with estimating

TYL is a top home improvement company, specializing in all facets of interior and exterior remodeling and restoration.

Candidate must possess the following:

1. Strong background in construction and/or residential remodeling and restoration and understanding the materials and processes used in construction.

2. Experience with construction estimating – understands the elements that drive the cost of remodeling and restoration and is experienced in making accurate estimates of cost. Experience with Xactimate a plus.

3. Personable and professional – person who fills this role is the “face of the company” to our customers and must always display professionalism

4. Experience selling in home remodeling and restoration services and has a track record of success

5. Clean driving record – person hired will be driving company vehicle for sales / estimating appointments

6. Fluent in typical software used in business (i.e. Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat)

7. Accomplished writing skills – capable of writing proposals to homeowners that are clear and convincing

Job Responsibilities:

• DAILY TRAVEL throughout Northern Virginia to conduct customer visits and present products and services
• Increase the customer experience by presenting all new products and services through up-selling techniques
• Attend ongoing training regarding sales initiatives and product offerings
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times
• Create and exhibit a sense of ownership
• Achieve sales goals set by company
• Continuously network and develop new business
