Micromanagement is forced from the top down, and while is talk of innovation, you must do EXACTLY what is called for without deviation. They expect turnover and don't even bother to measure retention or associate satisfaction. When an associate leaves they condemn them and blame it on a lack of toughness of the associate. There is no interest in learning about why people leave. There is no personal life for store managers or DM's ~ just rue. There is no interest in leadership development at any level. Keep your head down, your mouth shut and work. Petty gossip among executives and corporate office is an embarrassment.
