Position Summary:
This position will be a customer facing post sales Solutions engineer position in the Engineering Services Department. The Solutions Engineer who will help guide customers through their integration journey and ensure their ongoing success. From the kickoff call to project go-live, the solutions engineer will be the primary technical resource for ensuring equipment and engineering services are implemented in the most seamless manner possible. Through Test and Turn Ups and scheduled support windows, the associate solutions engineer will implement approved customized solutions, create detailed implementation and testing plans, and provide best practices for their integrations. Als, responsible for performing production support along with network and security change requests and advanced troubleshooting with customers and vendors. The Solutions engineer will collaborate with senior engineers and architects in the design, configuration, and support of all products and services offered to customers.

Responsibility:
· Support the Production Engineering Department in all areas of operations to include production support, release management, vulnerability management and other tasks as assigned to ensure delivery and operations for internal and external customers
· Participate in all phases of Production Engineering for Network and Security service offerings- Design, document, configure, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
· Configuration and management of security applications, tools, software, and controls in tools
· Provide network and security consulting on medium projects to ensure conformity to information, security policy, and standards
· Participate in security audits and support in the evidence gathering for different certifications, frameworks, and customers
· Identify security vulnerabilities, issues, perform risk assessments, evaluate remediation alternatives
· Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
· Ensure timely delivery and documentation of services utilizing ticket tracking systems
· Collaborate with field technicians, network personnel, and carrier provisioning groups regarding implementation, service delivery, product management, continuity, and incident resolution.
· Perform regular training to associate level engineers
· Be point of escalation for Associate Solutions engineers
· Assist with any and all other associated duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
· Ability to relate and communicate with people using good verbal and written communication skills, proper use of the English language.
· Customer oriented; good customer service skills.
· Minimum of 4 years’ experience with advanced IT and or Network Support
· Minimum of 4 years’ experience and knowledge of TCP/IP
· Minimum of 4 years’ experience implementing and troubleshooting broadband cable and DSL, as well as traditional telecommunication services
· Must have advanced experience with working with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or other industry firewall / routing devices
· Must have advanced experience with IP Routing and Firewall Configurations from administrative level.
· Must have advanced experience with BGP, VPN, GRE, DMVPN, and IPV6
· Must possess Security+, CCNA, or other equivalent industry certification and pursuing CCNP, CISSP or other equivalent industry certifications.
· Required to pass practical test during interview process.
· Military experience a plus. Telecommunications experience a plus. Project coordination or management a plus.
