I have been working at 24 Hour Fitness part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Free gym membership!
    Relaxed, fun atmosphere.
    Discounted training sessions.
    Flexible hours.
Encourage lateral and vertical growth within the company.
You get to wear comfortable clothes to work (gym-appropriate attire).

    Cons

This job teaches you how to have thick skin--clients can get very upset about things that may not be within your power to change. Since you're functioning as a receptionist to some degree, people will take their frustrations with their fees or the facilities out on you.

I applied online. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at 24 Hour Fitness.

    Interview Details

Went in feeling very nervous. Had to sit in the lobby instead of a small office or waiting area. Was called on and had more than one person overseeing the interview process. It wasn't very friendly, but I could tell they do a lot of interviews. This is the type of job that uses a lot of nepotism.
