Former Employee - Accounts Payable Intern in Singapore (Singapore)

I worked at ABB (Singapore) as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

The company's finance department has an excellent work culture where every employee is made to fee valued. Colleagues are always willing to help. Young staff also frequently organized birthday celebrations. Enjoyable working atmosphere!

    Cons

Due to large size of company, there could be many invoices to process in the Accounts Payable department. However with the new invoice scanning system the amount of workload for staff could be reduced significantly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There could be improved communication between the warehouse and accounts payable department so that suppliers' concerns about payments could be more adequately addressed.

    Graduate Engineer Program Interview

    Application Details

I applied through college or university. The process took a day - interviewed at ABB (Singapore) in April 2014.

    Interview Details

The first stage is about the assessment day. Almost 100 students are split into groups to do presentation. The presentation topic was quite generic. Each group were given a room and 30 minutes to discuss on that topic. Then each group will take turn to present the topic to the panel. The panel only consists of HR and some previous batch graduate engineers.
