I have been working at AJM Packaging full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Full time, medical and dental and was close to my home.

    Cons

Pretty rigid point system, so taking off days, even being sick, was kind of a problem.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Update software and equipment. Will most likely create a better workflow and cost savings.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at AJM Packaging in July 2014.

    Interview Details

Extensive interview process (2 months) guided personally by CEO. Good combination of technical skills assessment and personality fit. I was impressed by the amount of time the CEO chose to spend on the selection process, even to the point of making himself available for discussions outside business hours and via phone, text message, or email. Interactions were "unfiltered" so I felt I had a very honest and open exchange with the CEO. Ultimately we mutually agreed the personality fit wasn't what we both needed, but I retain a positive impression of a company with many interesting challenges as well as the commitment required to address them.

    Interview Questions
    • Technical questions focused on strategic approach and alignment of policies with business needs; personality fit questions were more challenging as they covered philosophical approaches to various topics (role of regulation/compliance, challenges in replacing low performers without org. disruption).   Answer Question
