I have been working at APS Healthcare full-time (More than a year)RecommendsPositive OutlookRecommendsPositive Outlook
Local management is incredibly caring and supportive. They are patient with employees who at least show a positive attitude towards clients. Starting pay is very competitive for the position. Employees who show willingness to consistently perform are rewarded with respect and responsibilities. Surprisingly transparent management in regards to upper level corporate decisions.
Benefits overall are only slightly above average. For a health care company a bit better contribution towards healthcare cost would be nice, but solid starting pay and HSA contributions are good. Annual merit raises are WELL below average but that could change with new corporate parent company, speaking of which, they seem to be bought and sold more frequently than average/
Advice to Management
Keep up the great job treating all employees as important and worthy of being known about all upper level decisions as much as possible. Hopefully you can push for better merit raises for those who earn them under new ownership.
