I have been working at ATEM full-time

On my search to find a company that provides computer networking training and placements, I came across ATEM corp. I was quite taken by the detailed training information provided on their website and further discussion over the phone about my plans for my career and the role they would play in helping me achieve these plans, cemented my initial impression of the company. The company greatly benefits from its thoroughly professional and dedicated management. It has a fully equipped laboratory and an extensive library of books/training materials on every networking-related topic you can think of. The training program focuses more on practical application of computer networking concepts, in real-world scenarios. This hands-on experience proves extremely valuable in promoting quick and easy learning. I am very satisfied with the way things are run at ATEM and their marketing strategy that focuses on the trainee’s career objectives and the best way to achieve them.

I can't think of any particular downsides to the training and placement provided here.

    Network Engineer Interview

    Easy Interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at ATEM (Santa Clara, CA) in October 2012.

I had 90 days to secure employment before I ran out of my student visa status so I looked for the company with the best Network Engineer training preparation in good weather. No other consulting company sent me pictures of the Labs or equipment I would work on so the choice was pretty simple. Interview was general. They wanted to know what level of cisco certification I had achieved during my master's program and what my current Visa status was. I had CCNA, they wanted CCNP. Training for CCNP took me about 3 months but it took some of my batch-mates 5 months.

They put everyone on an hourly pay rate for the first six months on the job site. I didn't get to negotiate.
