Former Employee - Electrical Engineer in Hsinchu (Taiwan)

I worked at AU Optronics full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The work environment and training program are very good. Its very easy to ask for IC samples and other relative support since it's a big customer for a lot of companies. The horizon will improve because of the diversity of its customers.

    Cons

Employee turnover still very high because the salary they provide cannot compete with IC design house for electrical engineer. The promotion rate or procedures might be a bit conservative.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The display industries are going through a tough time, the long term decision making are very critical.
