I have been working at AbelsonTaylor full-time (More than a year)

    - Working with people who are passionate about their work, are intelligent and like to have fun - Learning something new everyday; this place is never boring - High standards for creative and digital execution among many teams (these standards vary by group) - Creative management has made big changes to address inconsistent quality of digital among some teams - Working with team members that constantly research and strive to follow the latest best practices, challenging everyone on what pharma marketing should be

    - The shift to project management capability has been challenging for everyone across the agency - Inadequate training and lack of standards for project management - A gap in knowledge and skill level still exists in some areas across the agency (again, there is variance by group)

    Advice to Management

    - Continue to stick with the recent changes to improve the agency - Work to get a handle on the project management capability through better hiring and thorough training

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AbelsonTaylor.

Everything moves very quickly at AbelsonTaylor. I was asked to come in for a few hours as soon as possible and meet with four Account Directors and Human Resources. Questions were typical ("Tell me about yourself," "What are you looking for," "Describe a time you faced a difficult challenge"). I found them to be nice, but I could see very little passion for their jobs. While there was a lot of time spent describing the benefits of the company, there was more time spent describing the frustrations of pharma advertising. Maybe an hour after my interview, I had an offer. And they wanted an answer as soon as possible. Maybe it's just me, but because the process is extremely fast-paced, I couldn't help feeling like I was just an extra set of hands. And I would've preferred to meet with someone closer to my level to get more day-to-day perspective.
