I worked at Acclaim Technical Serivces as a contractor (less than a year)Pros
I worked on a temporary project for this government contractor. My management was professional, courteous, and honest. I would work with ATS again. ATS management and more junior employees were courteous and respective of our presence by treating us like team members. My senior [I think] manager suggested I stay in contact for possible positions in case where I have landed did not work out to my approval and available positions within ATS government contracts opened up for which I am fit. I cannot speak for the company as a whole and I cannot speak for working for the company directly with a government contract, but the Reston folks were awesome and my management was up front with me and excellent. If an offer comes your way with ATS, I would take at the very least give it real consideration.Cons
Not really. I would have suggested a better location in Reston, but the company is doing that in December 2014 so that is a moot point with a better location closer to Washington DC's Metro stations. By December 2014 the company will have a location within easy walking distance to the Wiehle-Reston Metro station for those folks not working at customer locations and those who prefer public transportation. The walk should be about 5 to 7 minutes depending on personal waking speed. The office new will still be on the W&OD bicycle/running trail (which I used), just closer to the Metro.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Continue being friendly to your temporary employees. I'm not sure if that is a company policy or just personal niceties, but all of your Reston employees made me feel like a team member.RecommendsNeutral Outlook

- Application Details
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks – interviewed at Acclaim Technical Serivces in August 2011.Interview Details
The interview process was very professional. An ATS Recruiter first emailed me after seeing my resume on a job search engine. He set up an initial introduction and phone interview. I spoke to him directly and he was very thorough in explaining exactly what the position entailed and who the company was. He went over his own positive experience at ATS and answered any questions that I had. We then went over my resume and I answered his questions on my current and previous experience.
The next step was my phone interview with the Hiring Manager, which was followed up by an in person interview shortly days after. During this process, I was asked about my previous experience and what my expectations for this position would be. I was asked questions that my have determined if I would fit in with the company. Everything went well with the Hiring Manager.
The final step was an interview with the President and CEO of the company. This was a good experience and really proved that this was a company that was really searching for the right candidate.
I was offered the position the same day as my final interview. The on-boarding process was as equally as professional as my hiring process. Within a few days, I was sent my offer letter and my benefits package to review. By the first day of work, I was already set up with my computer and blackberry and was ready to begin work.Interview Questions
