    The people make the organization. Many opportunities are available with client companies, but you have to make the effort to go to the office and help them sell you. If you are willing to take the time to help them market your services, then you will be successful here.


    The best work tended to go to the same "favorite" consultants. It took almost 3 years to become a favorite consultant, but paid off very well after that point.

    Advice to Management

    I understand the client first theory, but Consultants should be treated as partners, not as second class citizens.

    I applied online. The process took 6 weeksinterviewed at Accretive Solutions in July 2014.


    The interview process initially moved very quickly. I received a call from the recruiter 24 hours after I submitted my resume. I then had a phone interview with the recruiter followed by one-on-one interviews with the recruiter and hiring manger. I have extensive experience and the recruiter said he would call me the next day to discuss the interview and next steps as they were aggressively hiring. However, I never heard back from the recruiter. I was surprised by the lack of professionalism as the Company seemed to be very interested in my feedback on their interview process during the one-on-one interview. I followed up via email and voicemail with the recruiter and the hiring manager for 6 weeks and when I didn't ever receive communication to close the loop, I took a position with another firm.
