Open Letter to Potential Candidates, Former Employees and Current Employees,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Actiance. We value honest feedback at every level of our organization, and this forum is no exception. Whether positive or negative, we read these reviews and use them, as appropriate, for improving processes, managing resources, and enhancing employee experience. As humbling as it is to read negative feedback, we want you to know that we hear you. And, we are actively applying what we learn.
It is an evolutionary time at Actiance, and I recognize that there are areas where we need to improve including internally communicating our company’s vision and strategy as well as investing time and resources into technology and our employees.
For our Bangalore-based employees, we are committed to improving the work environment by, among other things, investigating new facilities while remaining in the highly desirable Bangalore area. We are in the midst of implementing a more comprehensive employee evaluation and merit program, and we are improving our training/mentorship processes and engagement tools to foster a fun and challenging team environment that focuses on high-levels of satisfaction for everyone.
Actiance is constantly growing. We are at the cusp of a huge market opportunity at the intersection of social, big data, and compliance. However, we are not only concerned with the growth of the company, but also the personal and professional growth of our employees.

Hard to understand some of the negative reviews here. But people are expected to work here. This isn't a place to hide and take home a paycheck. Engineers are expected to product quality products. Sales are expected to sell. Support is expected to support. If they don't, this isn't the right place for them. Nice new headquarters, with lots of room to expand. There are 3 main product lines, all three of which are growing. There has been a lot of focus on improving the company culture over the past year. We've started holding more all-hands meetings to keep people informed, and weekly, now daily, company lunches. There is more to be done, but definitely on an upward trend.
Like every company, we need to execute properly in order to grow.. Resources can be tight, but you typically have what you need to perform your job. Some teams are held more accountable than others. The CEO can be very demanding. He expects a lot out of people. But those that deliver are well rewarded.
Advice to Management
Focus on product quality. Make the existing products the best they can be, then build new products.

I applied online. The process took 3+ months – interviewed at Actiance in November 2014.
I was hesitant to apply after reading the reviews here...I should have listened to that instinct. Interviewed over the course of 3 months for Product Marketing position. Included several phone interviews and 2 in-person interviews. 6 total. After bringing me in to the office for a multiple person, multi-hour interview, said they would like to schedule another round of interviews with other executives/team-members moving forward. The hiring manager went on vacation and never got back to me, even after checking in with their recruiting coordinator several times. They kept saying that they would schedule it and let me know. After investing that much time and energy into them they didn't even have the decency or professionalism to wrap up the process or give me any kind of answer whatsoever, just endless delays. Very inconsiderate, un-professional and off-putting. No wonder employees are jumping ship like mad.
