I worked at AdAsia Communications full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Couldn't ask for better clients! Beautiful office. Visa sponsorship. The owner is a true entrepreneur who has brought rapid growth to the agency over the years. Everyone is generally nice and friendly. Some very smart and professional people. The agency is trying everything they can to turn digital - a precious effort in the Asian agency business.

    Cons

Base salary is not competitive at all. Horrible work life balance for many people. Some lazy and dumb managers. Very stict with vacations or personal days off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Talk to junior staff more. There are talented people who work really hard but are paid pathetically. Think of some incentives to show you actually trust your employees and for people to be even more motivated, like, more flexibility with time off, sick leaves, early leaves etc.

    Interview Details

There was a career fair for Asians in NYC. I didn't know about this company until I actually got to the fair. I spoke with the people at the booth, but they were being inconsistent about the qualifications of the positions they were offering.
