    I have been working at AdRoll full-time

    Pros

    AdRoll has an amazing company culture. I have been so impressed by everyone and their driven yet fun mentality. Awesome work environment.

    Cons

    The adtech space is pretty precarious. AdRoll needs to figure out how they will survive with the big guys.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you are doing. Push more marketing products and make sure AdRoll is not a one trick pony.

    Application

    I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at AdRoll in June 2015.

    Interview

    I was emailed by one of their recruiters the day after I applied. Within a few days I had a 15 minute phone call with the first person who reached out to me. We talked about my current position and why I want to work at AdRoll. Then he asked why in particular I wanted to work at the position I was applying for. After that he said everything seemed aligned and we'd be moving to the next stage of interviews. The following week I had a 30 minute phone interview with someone at the position I would be hired for. I thought it went really well, and I answered every question thoroughly. She even responded with "that's a good answer" for a few. The next day after my 30 minute interview I was called and told "the response wasn't strong enough and we will not be moving forward". A very vague reason. I inquired via email as to what was missing - but was told they didn't get any feedback.The overall experience was positive, and I'm glad they were able to tell me quickly they wouldn't want to move forward, but I wish they were a little more specific as to why they didn't want to offer me the position.
