Working retail can be a thankless job, but at Addition Elle it was one of the most rewarding experiences.

I worked at Addition Elle part-time (more than a year)

I really enjoyed how customer centered it is at Addition Elle. My favorite part about the job was working with the customers to help them find outfits and pieces that made them look and feel great. It is not always easy to do in plus-sizes but it is knowing what styles looks best on which shape and they know all about that at Addition Elle.

There was not much opportunity to advance in the company. I would have liked to move further up into the corporate office but there was no news about any such openings or opportunities in the two years I worked there. Also, the on-call shifts for 3-4 hours were not a motivator to continue working for the company.

    Interview Details

applied in person, and got a call to come in for an interview two days later. the interview was not what i expected at all. lots of situation based questions for which i was not prepared. things like "we got a new product in; how would you sell it to a customer?" etc. then we went out on the floor and she gave me a scenario, and 5 minutes to come up with an outfit and told me to sell it to her.
then took me back to the interview room, asked me availability and generic things like that.
