Adobe – Why Work For Us?

At Adobe, we create digital experiences that change the world. How? We help people bring ideas to life by creating content that makes life more fun and work more impactful. We give businesses and organizations the power to truly engage their customers. We're the ones behind the gorgeously designed content that streams across your laptop, TV, phone, and tablet every day—and we’re the ones who harness the massive power of big data to help companies find and reach the people who crave that content.

We do it with energy, passion, and curiosity, and we’re backed by our rich heritage and culture of innovation. We’re looking for exceptional talent to join us.

Since its earliest days, Adobe has been committed to a set of core values that were embodied by its founders and remain the cornerstone of our corporate philosophy. These values shape everything we do, from how we develop and market our products to how we serve our customers, employees, and communities. These are the four tenets we live by:

Adobe has more than 30 years of innovation with constant profitability and growth — but to keep up that pace we’ll need you!

Our University Talent team visits a number of college campuses around the United States every year, and you can check this calendar to see when we'll be in your area. If we don't visit your school, we still want to hear from you. Submit your resume online, and take the time to fill out your profile. Be thorough and accurate; the more detail you provide, the better your chances of finding a job you actually want.

Here’s a quick tip sheet to help prep your resume and a video that’ll give you and inside look at our culture and offices.

Current Students and MBA’s should also scope out our Summer Internship Programs.

It's the little things that make a difference, like on-site massage and bike repair, pet insurance, fun after-work activities, and much more! We've got a complete list of benefits for you, but here are a few unique perks that set Adobe apart.

Discounts on Adobe products. For your own use, all Adobe software is free of charge. We've also got family and friend discounts.

Education reimbursement program. Adobe provides tuition reimbursement up to US$10,000 per year for approved courses. You can also take advantage of engineering and science courses on the Stanford Instructional Television Network (SITN).

Fitness facilities. Our San Jose campus features a fully equipped gym with weights, machines, cardio equipment, fitness classes, and even a full-length outdoor basketball court alongside the bocce ball court. Employees at other locations receive health club subsidies to be used for fitness facilities of their choice.

Great food. Our cafeterias serve delicious, healthy meals. You'll also find full-service coffee bars for your cappuccino fix and free snacks in every kitchen.

In every business unit, at every office, you’ll discover passionate employees.

I have been working at Adobe full-time (more than 3 years)

Work/life balance is strong, and needing that balance is expected by Adobe. Professional, competitive environment, yet very friendly, open and nurturing. Adobe is excellent in the areas in which they compete. Great brand recognition. Adobe really appreciates their employees. If employees have thoughts to share, management listens. Great innovation program.

No clear programs for advancement. Career path is entirely self-made. Products need better pricing options. The HQ building doesn't reflect the true creativity of the company. Other offices such as that in San Francisco and Lehi reflect the creative culture more.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need better career path development. Lateral mobility seems to be more common than upward mobility. Most employees don't know how to use Adobe products, even those that are most common such as Acrobat.

    Application Details

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Adobe.

    Interview Details

Interview process included 4 co-worker interviews to begin with. Each was about 30 minutes long. Second round of interviews included upper management (Sr. Director), other managers on the team that I wasn't going to interview with, and several people that seemed to be somewhat irrelevant (legal counsel). Interviews were comfortable and friendly and included behavioral-based questions, and one brain teaser type question. Mostly just going over resume sharing hi-lights.

    Interview Questions
    • None of the questions were particularly difficult or unexpected.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
Explained my needs and expectations. When they couldn't meet them exactly, I offered an alternative way of meeting them, they accepted.
