I have been working at AeroVironment full-time (More than 3 years)
Wonderful Engineering staff and a few selective folks in supply chain, doc control, production and Legal are great to work with . A Go get 'em hustle. If you love what you do, there are more than it's share of challenges to chase after and win. The product lines are cool too.
Although both EES and UAS divisions are now operating under one umbrella and roof. Still divisive minded across both divisions. Internal cohesiveness broken down. They can change this environment, slow to do at mid-management level. Executive staff sits high and looks low.
Advice to Management
Remove the element of "FEAR" in the workplace. It builds walls internally and resentment. If you have integrity, no one likes to throw others under the bus. But to prevent a write up? Yes, maybe. You will never receive the best work performance from an employee in fear. Telling someone "Thank You for your hard work" face to face rather than email goes so much farther than you think.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at AeroVironment.
Sent in the application via email and the recruiter sent me a questionnaire to fill out regarding my relevant experiences. The hiring manager contacted me a month later after reviewing all the applications to set up a phone interview. They requested my transcripts a week later and I received an offer letter soon after.
