    I started here as an intern in the summer of 2012. The agency and senior leadership team have helped me grow tremendously. This is a great place to work with really solid people. Your ideas will be heard and valued. They encourage big thinking and really help nurture young talent. I've gotten a ton of opportunities for professional development (Omnicom Emerging Stars Program, SHAPE - an Omnicom idea hub initiative). I've also gotten a lot of experience presenting to clients early on in my career thanks to Alcone. This comes from the senior management being so trusting and making every member of the team feel valued.


    Just like any agency, it's got its ups and downs. You win some, you lose some. Nothing out of the ordinary that you wouldn't see at any another agency. They've gotten a couple big wins to add to the client roster recently, so I would say the agency is on an upswing.

    Advice to Management

    Try to implement a couple more annual team bonding opportunities if possible. Those are always super fun. Try to stay consistent with the summer BBQs and potlucks. It's something the employees really value and look forward to.

    I applied online – interviewed at Alcone Marketing (Irvine, CA).


    I applied online and was contacted the next day by the Manager of Experiential Marketing. No phone interview, just 2 in-person interviews with the VP of Experiential and two Managers. The VP interview was very casual and talked about the position and my qualifications. Later, I met with two Managers who weren't too prepared. No questions prepared...they just kind of winged it. Very laid-back overall and it wasn't too intense. After discussing my background and examples of my involvement with experiential marketing, we were finished within 40 minutes. No interview follow-up from any 3 of the people I interviewed with. You will not know if you are moving forward or if they declined you until you reach out to them.
