I have been working at Allegiant Travel (More than a year)

    Pros

I enjoy the egalitarian, transparent environment at Allegiant. The activities for employees that are sponsored by the company are a lot of fun.

    Cons

We have 'Food Truck Tuesday' on the first Tuesday of the month. Wish we could have a food truck scheduled for every or every other Tuesday.

    Interview

The interview process is very positive. Though slightly stressful, you feed off of the nervous energy, and it helps you strive to do your best. The recruiters are amusing, and the atmosphere is relaxed compared to other FA interviews. The problem with this company is their inability to follow through with their duties. When you get all the way through the fingerprinting, background check paperwork, and are handed your drug test paperwork, it's thrilling, and you just assume you're in. Those that are given a CJO at the end are hired. If they tell you you'll hear from them in a few days, don't hold your breath. Not only are you not hired, they don't even give you the courtesy of a tbnt letter. They just leave you hanging. Read to the bottom of many that show offer accepted. Since they don't have a box saying, still waiting to hear back, they check off offer accepted, which they didn't, because there was no offer They don't even change your employment status. It just says, "under review", forever. They should be more mindful that this is not In-And-Out Burger. Since you have to possibly relocate, and attend training, it's not an interview you really want to be left in the dark about. Having to pay for your flight and hotel just makes it that much more insulting. At least offer a discount on your flight. It's not like they don't have connections!

Do you remember where you were 10 years ago? We know where we were! A decade ago we were getting ready to start making sunny Florida vacations possible! Today, we celebrated the Team Members at SFB who have helped take millions from small, underserved cities to the beautiful sandy beaches of Florida and amazing theme parks for an entire DECADE! Many of our leaders came out to the airport to say “thank you” – truly, we couldn’t have done it without your hard work!
