Low key (as it can be for a law firm) and good people. Among law firms it probably does not get any better. There is no shortage of interesting work.

Only the general downside of working for a large law firm -- e.g., demanding clients, sometimes long hours, difficulty taking true, unplugged vacations with zero work.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing the same!! I work in the DC office, but the gentle office culture I believe is present throughout all offices.

I applied online. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Alston & Bird (Atlanta, GA) in May 2015.

The usual application documents submitted through A&B's website. An in-house HR supervisor contacts a candidate for an initial telephone interview. Following a telephone interview, a follow-up office interview at A&B. The HR staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Standard job interview questions and review of one's resume and experiences.
