You can work as much as you want.To make a decent living you have to work ALL the time, with little time off. They are merging with so many health associations that they have plenty of work .
Office staff making field decisions without knowledge.management does not listen to field staff.its always been done this way. Well times are a changin.. poor pay and benefits. bonus structure is a joke. unattainable. Do not value the long term -full time employee.. just a number, filling a spot.. If you work your scheduled time you end up only having a few days off, with the call. No pay for call, through the week. You have to be available but only get paid if you go see someone.
Advice to Management
put your money in your field staff.. Make them happy...and your patients will be happy. Make it a company you won't have to leave because you can not grow ..that is what grows your business .. by word of mouth.. to big to fast not counting on those that are doing the work FOR you..Be choosy about hiring.. don't hire a warm body to fill a spot..to much turn over..

I applied online. The process took a week – interviewed at Alternate Solutions HomeCare (Dublin, OH) in November 2012.
Fill out an application and your hired. Provided you do not have something in your background check. They call and talk to you, Go in for a 1:1 interview. Contract is formed with pay benefits etc. you sign or you do not. A One and half week orientation to learn the PDA charting and Oasis... you on your own,
