I worked at Amcor full-time (More than 10 years)Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDoesn't RecommendNegative Outlook
There are a lot of knowledgeable long time employees. There are many dedicated and hard working people in production. Pay is good.
Too much pressure to have a good safety record instead of recording everything and fixing all issues. A lot of talk about six sigma but very little actual use of data. Business slowly being ruined by Alcan management brought in after acquisition.
Advice to Management
Live up to stated culture and values. Walk the talk. Respect people. There is a lot of actual data and knowledge available. Use it.

Reasons for Declining
From the facility tour and speaking with a few colleagues, the management style at this place is comparable to a prison camp. I politely declined any offer or communication.
