    Pros

    1. Great People - but from all the complaints here, they all seem like whiners!
    2. Real Bonuses - I've worked here for 4 years, and I love getting several thousand dollars every December!
    3. Amazing Benefits - I don't pay anything for my health insurance coverage, AND we got more benefits last year added to our plans.
    4. Fast-Paced Environment - There's so much to do everyday that time flies.
    5. Company is Changing - ACN seems to be changing during the last two years to be a better company. It's nice to see the changes and also attend the different events that HR has organized.

    Cons

    1. Training - Most of the managers here are promoted from within, so they don't necessarily know how to manage. Supposedly, there's a training plan in the works.
    2. Short Deadlines - Everything needs to happen right away. It's not sustainable.
    3. Not Enough Vacation Days - It would be nice to get more than 10 days per year.
    4. Micromanaged From Senior Management - All of the VPs and up tend to micromanage. Empower your staff to make decisions!

    Advice to Management

Everyone needs to let go a little and not be so wound up...it's okay to breathe and relax for a minute! ACN has a lot of opportunity to grow their business, but they can only do it if they let their managers and staff do their jobs.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 daysinterviewed at America Chung Nam (City of Industry, CA) in April 2015.

    Interview

I applied online. I was called the same day for the phone interview. I scheduled the in person interview for two days later. They kept me waiting for almost 20 mins in a room before he came in. After, I met with a department manager who kept me waiting for another 30 mins before he waltzed in. During the interview, he answered his cell phone and had a casual conversation with the caller while I sat there waiting.

This was pretty much the worst interview I have ever had in my life. I have never had a person be such a condescending jerk to me.

    Interview Questions

    • I'm my mid 20's so I have one small gap in my employment. They obsessed over it and asked me so many questions about it.

The department manager asked questions such as: 'What is your future goal? Why haven't you achieved it yet? What was your high school GPA? Why did you go to community college, before you transferred to a university; is it because you didn't do well? How would your friends/coworkers/employers/classmates describe you? (These were 4 separate questions. I really started running out of adjectives to describe myself).
