    Pros

Great health benefits, generous vacation time and the office is closed between Christmas and New Year's Day. Also, salaries are on the high side for the field.

    Cons

Teams are siloed and the executive leadership operates in a way that's not transparent at all. It's a highly bureaucratic organization where change is actively discouraged.

    Advice to Management

Try to reduce employee turnover and employee favoritism that pervades the office.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Council on Education (Washington, DC).

    Interview

After an initial discussion with a representative from human resources department, there was one phone call interview with the supervisor for the position, and then I was invited for an in-person interview, which included meeting with several groups of individuals.
