Our Hiring Process
Want to join our family? Our automated online application starts the process. This tool is customized to screen for both skill sets and culture fit.
Our next step if there is a position match is a phone interview with a recruiter from our Talent Management team. Candidates who pass this phase are then scheduled for additional skills testing and a face-to-face interview with the recruiter. The next step involves an interview with the hiring manager, and then usually a team interview to ensure fit with the whole team.

American Fidelity’s New Headquarters
American Fidelity is moving to 9000 N. Broadway (near Britton and Broadway Extension), Oklahoma City, from our current headquarters near 23rd and Classen, OKC. The new location allows us room to grow and a newer facility. The property includes 150 acres with a showcase office building, parking garage, outdoor pavilion, walking trails and more.
We are in the process of renovating the existing building and preparing for the move. As part of our planning, we are investigating ways to bring new or improved benefits to our Colleagues due to the additional space. To ensure we have a smooth process, we are transitioning to the new property over the next three years. We will let everyone know when we’ve officially moved.
Field Sales Positions
A field sales position at American Fidelity is a position outside of our home office. The field sales works directly with our employer groups and their employees, educating them on the benefits of American Fidelity's insurance portfolio.

I applied through other source. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at American Fidelity Assurance Company.
The process was lengthy or thorough. They seemed very concerned about not just hiring anyone. They have a culture that they want to maintain and they want to ensure that the individuals they hire will maintain that culture. Although a lengthy process, it made me feel as if I had already accomplished something by getting the job. It impressed me to know that everyone who I worked with had to go through a similar process of background check and review.
