I have been working at American International College part-time (more than 5 years)

The Dean is a very perceptive, supportive individual who always strives to empower students and faculty alike. There is a good degree of autonomy in course design and implementation, and suggestions are well-received and acted upon. Students are mostly teachers and administrators, and they are enthusiastic about continuing their education.

Little support from the home campus. Despite repeated requests, no access to the library, email, or student evaluation results. Salary is not great.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

AIC should support their adjunct faculty with basic services such as those listed above. Repeated requests over a period of five years, with people passing on the requests to others and no action, no response, create a sense of frustration and the certainty that one is being ignored leads to questions about what the real issue is.

    Neutral Outlook
