    I have been working at Amerimerchant full-time (more than 3 years)


    Solid company with room from growth and a understanding of ones personal obligations past the office.


    Requiring a hand scanning entry can be rather draconian but things do need to be secure in this day and age. Certain departments can be a little lack luster in their movement to complete deals but that's to be expected at any company.

    I applied through other source. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at Amerimerchant in September 2014.

    Interview Details

    Saw job posting on Craigslist. I emailed my resume and received a call maybe 2 days later for an interview the next day. I received an email from a girl with last name Rojas for confirmation of location and time. Once I arrived I had to present my id at the front desk of the building then was directed upstairs to the 11th floor. Filled out application then met with Matt. The interview was very dry, he had an opinion about me before the interview because of my experience and rubbed me as ..."why are you applying for this job when you've done this this and that??" Well because I want this job, I'm qualified and can do this job. More qualified than he is by the end of the Interview his answer was "Well sometimes we post opportunities before HR is actually ready to hire and one month maybe better than another month so we really don't know how soon we'll hire anyone. I'm like whatever, you didn't call me in for an interview just to see my face so stop it. Seems like a company that is intimidated by very successful qualified candidates. It's like they want lower qualified candidates so they can pay small amounts of money. I saw a ton of people there walking around looked and sounded like they were fresh out of the workforce line. I don't think their interview process was bad though just very bad judgment. You find quality, pay for it. You find garbage, you get what you pay for.
