    Pros

    I like the growth taking place at ABC and the opportunities growth can potentially provide in my career. I also enjoy that ABC is willing to invest in the business where it enables my team and me to perform at a high level.

    Cons

    IT management is hiring a lot of senior level management and other open positions with preexisting contacts they have from outside the organization. They are not giving internal candidates opportunities to advance often knowing who they will hire to fill a position even before the position is posted. A whole management structure has been put in place from external candidates to the point it is strongly impacting morale.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to look at how to reward top performing employees with career development tracks and job promotion capability. It appears non existent and has top talent starting to look for opportunities outside of the organization now that the job market has improved.

    I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at AmerisourceBergen.

    Interview

    Applied online, and received a call approximately two weeks later to schedule phone interview. The scheduler was friendly and personable. The recruiter who called to conduct the interview on the other hand was not. It was an awkward call, beginning with the recruiter not even knowing how to properly pronounce the name of the city where the job is, and followed with far too much dead air between questions. The questions seemed to be geared more towards an agent role than that of a supervisor. At the end of the questions the recruiter stated the salary range for the role, $16 - $19/hr, which had me question if that was for the correct position. The agents at my last two companies earned more than that as a starting salary. She confirmed it was for the correct position. I withdrew my application at that point, as it is considerably less than market average, and substantially less than any supervisor position I have ever held.
