Current Employee - Machine Operator in Springdale, OH

I have been working at Ampac full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Competing pay and benefits above the cost of living in most surrounding areas. Many opportunities for overtime. Aggressive pay increase based on performance reviews in the first year of employment. Advancement is usually done from within.

    Cons

During busy season overtime can be mandatory and frequent. Long weeks. Poor personal day/attendance policy. Pay increases drop significantly after first year review. Advancement opportunities are rare and take a lot of seniority.
