    Pros

    Ability to be candid with management about home life conflicts. Hours are flexible and I have the ability to work from home, even, if needed. Family owned with no drama involved... a very professional family that keep personal relationships separate from business as necessary. Laid back atmosphere. Flexibile job requirements - ability to work under multiple departments if one takes initiative, or remain within a single project/business area.

    Cons

    Little feedback on performance - no reviews, or even pats on the back for a job well done. Difficult for any decisions to be made, particularly on policy or any other company changes (marketing materials, organization, etc.).

    Advice to Management

    Provide well-thought-out feedback to each employee in a monthly, quarterly, or even yearly review with both criticism and praise weighted as necessary. Equally and alternately, listen to employee feedback and accept that certain changes are good and required for forward movement.
