Annie's is a brand that walks the talk, and the company culture proves it. Health is encouraged with an onsite gym and cooking/smoothie classes. Community service is a requirement! And even though we've been acquired by General Mills, it's obvious the big guy is doing its best to get out of the way and enable Annie's to be an even bigger brand without compromising its values. Bottom line is it feels good to come to work. And it helps that management is transparent and focused on the core values that are stated everywhere around the office, website, and food packaging.

If you're in the organic food business it may seem sketchy to be ultimately owned by a large cpg. It's a personal thing. People here tend to look at it as Annie's leveraging huge resources it's never had before. Outsiders expect Annie's to be changed for the worst.

    Advice to Management

Annie's will continue to thrive as long as its culture is unsullied. The employees and consumers make the brand what it is, because they both believe in the brand. Protect the culture at all costs, and Mill's investment will flourish because the Annie's philosophy is flourishing. At all costs! Also, you rock John! Best CEO ever.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Annie's.

Phone screen with HR, talking about experience on the resume, and interest in the company. They brought me in for an on-site interview and it was with the IT manager as well as one of the team members. Asked about previous experience as well as customer service abilities.
