    I worked at Apache North Sea full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    + Overall compensation package at the top end of the market, especially bonuses
    + Strong management with a clear direction not afraid to make decisions
    + Very experienced personnel that have been working there for many years on same asset that you can learn from
    + Very successful business in the North Sea creates an overall good atmosphere/energy in the workplace
    + Generally straight-talking people, no BS.
    + A good place to go fairly early in the career to get broad experience.

    Cons

    - They expect a lot of you and working hours can be long. Be prepared to be expected to deliver
    - Not many options for moving internationally within the company.
