    I worked at AptarGroup

Very nice people that take care of their employees and consultants. Flexible work hours - they seemed very concerned about work/life balance.

There was a tendency to reject new ideas. Every plant thought they were special and unique. Some direct conflicts between different parties over what their legacy systems provided and what the replacenent should do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Highest upper management seemed to be disinterested in establishing clear guidelines for the project. They said the right things but did not follow it up with actions. Consequently, I believe they missed out on taking full advantage of the new software that was implemented.

AptarGroup hopes its dispensers are, well, indispensable. The company's pump dispensers are used for fragrances and cosmetics, food and pharmaceuticals, and a myriad of other personal care items. AptarGroup also makes dispensing closures for plastic-capped squeezable containers holding toiletries, and to a lesser extent, food and beverage, and household goods. The company offers aerosol valves in both continuous-spray and metered-dose options. Lines are sold under the AptarGroup subsidiary brands that produce them -- Emsar, Pfeiffer, Seaquist, and Valois.
