I have been working at Arkansas Children's Hospital part-time

    Pros

promotions are fair, require some extra work. Fair pay. Leadership always working to improve themselves and the hospital. Right now safety is a major push, as it should be. Benefits are good especially in the current climate of health insurance costs rising.

    Cons

Changes happening so fast causes increased stress levels

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have not had the best experience with people in HR the last few times I have had to go to them about something. Attitudes not friendly and I know of an instance of someone fired because of changing educational requirements. They actually had her sign a form that stated that she left voluntarily, and of course she couldn't get unemployment. Should she have read her papers better? Yes. But I would say that they took advantage of a very hard time in her life.

    Application Details

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Arkansas Children's Hospital in December 2013.

    Interview Details

After applying I got called in for a interview, but before you can go to the interview you have to pass a typing test its just filling information in such as name, address, etc. After you complete that you have a short customer service section. It's all pretty easy just practice typing before going in. After my interview it took about a week or maybe two to hear back and then after that I had to do some stuff through employee health such TB skin test, drug test, and flu shot. Then I started the following monday.
