I worked at Army and Air Force Exchange part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The best consumers I have been of service to. Opportunities and training are abundant. They have what are called Concepts, so if you work at Burger King and want to work at Starbucks, they will cross-train you. Management pretty much rocks, except for those that don't, but hey, ... retail.

    Cons

Difficulties with Human Resources. Past the hiring process, the HR agents know very little and care even less. Pay is minimum as an intermittent employee. Though training is available, HR didn't seem to want to work with me on it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a hard look at the people in Human Resources, some of them are just phoning it in, others are just down right dirty.

    Interview Details

I received a phone call after applying online for the position. The phone call was fairly brief, and I was invited for an interview at the HR department on base. The interviewer asked basic questions on how I would function in various customer/co-worker situations.
