It was a very tight-knit group. Though the job required a lot and had very tight deadlines, there was a lot of flexibility given as far as hours. The decommission of mainframe applications mission was very challenging and it felt like a great sense of accomplishment when it was done.
Some times the stress was high. The company is going out of business, so opportunities to move up are not available. There were always people leaving the company due to layoffs.
Advice to Management
Given the situation, I think management worked great with the employees.
