    Pros

Students always come first at Aspire. Teachers and administrators do their best to serve the students through consistent feedback all around.

    Cons

Sometimes, the feedback provided on instructional practices and procedures turns into criticism, which can come across as negative, and hardly fosters a feeling of family among the staff. If the staff doesn't feel welcomed into the Aspire family, it can lead to burnout.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter – interviewed at Aspire Public Schools (Oakland, CA).

    Interview

It was quick and intense. First a phone interview, then a panel interview. Then one on one interviews and skills test. If you make it past this a thorough background check is done and then a final interview.
