I have been working at Astreya Partners

The biggest account is a well known search engine company. Astreya employees get the chance to be part of that corporate environment. It is fast paced. There is plenty of room to grow, so if you are able to deal with the pressures involved in growing an offering, this may be a good fit. Working here you will learn about IT managed services. And the service provided is for a very demanding client. So running efforts by metrics, reporting, root cause analysis and identifying new areas for business are all skills I've honed while working here.

It's extremely demanding and high pressure. Perfection is expected. Since nobody is perfect, you will be faced with failures from time to time. It's hard to deal with. You must have a thick skin, and the tireless desire to improve yourself. Not everybody can handle a constant, high-octane, experience like this. Since the environment is so competitive, the tendency to over-work and lose the work/life balance is there for those who are determined to succeed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to ask the hard questions and dedicate resources to solidifying the core of your offerings. Clarity is huge. Every developing service has an inherent lack of clarity regarding what is done and how it is done. Keep maturing your core competencies while looking for ways to expand.

    Interview Details

They called me in the morning and told me they found my profile online that fit one of their job openings. I received an email from them within an hour requesting my current resume and fill out the prescreener form. They called again in the afternoon and left a voicemail asking me to submit the information in the next 10-15 minutes because it is urgent. I didn't hear back from them since. I called in the afternoon the next day to find out they determined I don't qualify.
