Comprehensive and competitive, our enterprise offers a well-balanced package of benefits that serves to shape and complement the lives of our employees. Our current selection for eligible employees includes:

Health Coverage for Medical, Dental and Vision: These most sought-after benefits are offered through various plan options and are available for eligible employees and their eligible dependents.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan: Planning for retirement is always a smart move and we provide a valuable tool that will help employees plan for the future; through our tax-deferred 401(k) plan with a company match.

Pension Plan: Another way to help ensure a financially healthy future is through our pension plan. It is provided and funded for employees entirely by our organization. This traditional plan is fast becoming a rarity, but we know its value and offer it as a way to help AAA employees prepare for retirement.

Flexible Spending Accounts: Health-care and dependent-care spending accounts allow eligible employees to set aside pre-tax money to cover IRS-approved expenses. This is an opportunity that allows one to save and budget expenses at the same time.

Health Savings Account: Allows eligible employees enrolled in a high deductible health plan to set aside pre-tax money for today’s health as well as future health expenses through retirement.

Life Insurance: Basic life insurance, provided at no cost to eligible employees, offers peace of mind, and reassurance that your loved ones will be taken care of, should the unexpected happen to you.

Disability Coverage: We acknowledge that sometimes life throws us a curve, so disability coverage is available to eligible employees when appropriate. We need healthy team members and this is one way we can support them and their efforts to get well and return to work.

Employee Assistance Program: This confidential service is available to assist all employees and their family members in solving personal problems such as: marital, family or emotional conflicts; alcoholism; drug abuse; legal or financial difficulties; and work/life balance.

Paid Time Off: We believe that having time to relax away from the office is definitely a crucial part of work/life balance. New employees begin accruing vacation days immediately. In addition, we provide eligible employees holiday and illness days, giving them the opportunity for recuperation when they need it.

Career Development and Professional Training: We encourage our employees and managers to enroll in career-enhancing courses through our in-house training options. We have instructor-led courses, virtual classes that employees can take right from one’s desktop, and a library of recorded courses. We are proud of our leadership development program and solid history of promoting from within.

Employee Savings: Eligible and qualifying employees may receive discounts on AAA membership, insurance and other products. We also partner with various vendors who offer discounted tickets to amusement parks, movie theaters and sporting events. Additionally, special vehicle pricing is available with selected dealers. Many retailers and restaurants also extend discounts to employees.

Ridesharing: Doing our part to help ease the commute dilemma, eligible employees who work in designated facilities may receive monetary incentives for carpooling, walking or biking to work.

Health Savings Account: Allows eligible employees enrolled in a high deductible health plan to set aside pre-tax money for today's health as well as future health expenses through retirement. Monies saved may also be rolled over from year-to-year to use in retirement.

Credit Union: The Auto Club Federal Credit Union (ACFCU), an independently operated entity, offers financial services to eligible employees and their family members, such as: a holiday savings program, loans, checking and savings accounts, among other services. Check with your local Human Resources department for eligibility for the ACFCU as well as other credit union options.

Being a member service organization, we set high standards for our employees and are committed to providing a safe and drug-free work environment. We strive to make hiring decisions that are mutually beneficial to potential employees as well as to our culture.

Our recruiters are eager to go over your qualifications. While moving through the selection process, you could be contacted to participate in a telephone pre-screen, complete pre-employment assessments or be invited to come in to our local office for an interview

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 1 week - interviewed at Auto Club of Southern California in August 2011.

    Interview Details

Professional initial communication for interview. A series of tests to take regarding behavior and best practice. The interview was with two managers each taking turns asking pre-written questions. Many of which were similar to the last. No discussion on skills, software, or advanced experience; the entire interview was to describe a time when put in a specific situation and how it was handled. It was most likely beneficial to understand how the interviewee handles stressful or difficult situations. Grueling and repetitious. One of the managers was clearly uninterested and was simply going through the process.
